Elois Palmer Harrison, 88, of Florence, passed away June 27, 2018. Visitation Sunday, July 1, 2018, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. Funeral will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel with Brothers Frank Mills, Norman Hargett and Clifford Miles officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope Church of Christ Cemetery.
Mrs. Harrison was a longtime member of Cross Point Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Palmer and Milner Harrison; sisters, Omie Rhodes, Maurine Smith and Jane King; and brothers, E.J., Eugene, Jack, Bill and Larry Clemmons.
Survivors include her children, Mike (Sandra) Palmer, Steve (Martha) Palmer, Pam Patterson and Brenda McGee; sisters, Mary Balentine and Ellene Smith; grandchildren, Melissa Stargel, Shane Palmer, Scott McGee, Brent Palmer, Kelly Palmer, Halley Briggs, Luke Patterson, Lindsey Moore and Megan Spillers; numerous loving great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will include Shane Palmer, Brent Palmer, Payton Palmer, Scott McGee, Luke Patterson and John Paul Spillers. Kelly Palmer will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Mrs. Harrison was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She devoted her life to her family and will be greatly missed.
