Funeral service for Dr. James E. Moody, 90, will be Sunday, July 1, 2018 at 3:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Dr. Moody died on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Aspire Nursing Home. He was born January 30, 1928, in Asheville, Alabama to Ellis Moody and Addie Lou Floyd Moody. He was a graduate of Howard College and went to the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He then, was a Physician in Hartselle for many years after which he moved to Addison, Alabama and practiced there until his retirement. He was a World War II Veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife: Joan Moody.
