Irene Hamilton Shaneyfelt, age 95, of Decatur, Alabama passed away on Monday June 25, 2018. Irene was born April 10, 1923. She is preceded in death by her husband David B. Shaneyfelt also her parents Daniel and Myrtle Hamilton and 7 siblings. She is survived by her children son David A. Shaneyfelt and his wife Jackie and daughter Teresa Thorne and her husband Ronnie. Two sisters Faye Aday and Geraldine Shaw. One brother Tom Hamilton. 6 Grandchildren Brandon Shaneyfelt (Amanda), Wes Shaneyfelt (April), Dusty Shaneyfelt (Sarah), Brandi Denney (Garrett), Chris Thorne ( Tammy) and Corey Thorne (Jennifer) and 10 Great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thursday at 1:00 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Billy Cagle officiating. Mrs. Shanefelt will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon Shaneyfelt, Wesley Shaneyfelt, Dustin Shaneyfelt, Tyler Shaneyfelt, Stoney Osborn and Jimmy Price.
