Lonnie Joe Balentine, 72, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018. Visitation will be today, June 26, 2018 from noon to 1 p.m. at Old Macedonia Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the church with Brother James Senn officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Balentine was a retired train master with CSX Railroad and was a member of Old Macedonia Church of Christ. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and friend.
Survivors include his children, Cynthia Malone, Charlotte Balentine, Charme Balentine and Casey Azuero; sisters, Rachel King, Nita Threet and Etta Balentine; brothers, Bobby Balentine and Rod Balentine; and grandchildren, Samuel Balentine, Lucas Azuero, Clay Malone and Caroline Malone.
