FLORENCE– The John Oubre Henderson memorial float was started by his brother Michael and Kelly Henderson , two years ago in honor of Michael ‘s brother John.  John age 27, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015.   The money raised was used to buy local unfortunate kids toys and books for the holidays.

The second year of the event raised even more money enabling the sponsors of the float buy a few carts full of coats, jackets, hats, toy and food for local families during the holidays.

So this year, the sponsors have decided they are going to be blowing it out.

Same thing as the prior years, there will be a float from Cox Creek at 12 PM on June 30, then there will be  Pie Factory Pizza and raffle off a Kayak at Wildwood Park.  Pizza slices will be $2 each and the Raffle Tickets for the chance to win the kayak will be $10 each.

But wait…that night, we’re having REDMOUTH, FLUX & COFFEE BLACK play at Singin’ River Live!
Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at johnoubre4antigua.org/jobrefest

Once again, any dollar made, after our minimal expences will go towards giving local needing families a better holiday season!

Tickets available at https://www.johnoubre4antigua.org/jobrefest
