James Howard “B.J.” Thomas, Jr., age 63 of Russellville passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at his residence.
B.J. loved his horses and his ’58 GMC Pickup. He proudly served his country in the U.S. National Guard. He loved his family and especially his grandchildren, and will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 23 at his residence, 974 Hwy 74, in Russellville.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Howard Thomas, Sr.; mother & step-dad, Frances & Cecil Ergle; brother, Dennis Ray Thomas; and sister, Otha Ann Thomas Chaney.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Stephanie Pettus Thomas; children, James Thomas, III (wife, Peggy), Jennifer Alexander (husband, Seth), Jason Thomas (wife, Amanda), Derick Kerr (wife, Tiffany), Ashley Bonner (husband, Dexter), Dylan Thomas (fiance’, Ashley McLemore); grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Tatum, Alayna, Jason Kamron, Conner, Ashlyn, Jackson, J.R. Howard, Braxton, Jayden, Noah; great-grandchildren, Emma Skye and one in the oven, Baby Thomas; brothers, David Thomas, Clifford Ergle; sister, Joyce Cantrell; best friend, Jimmy Borden; and a host of nieces & nephews.
