Ruksana “Millie” Kazi, 69, of Florence, passed away June 5, 2018. Funeral service will be June 8, 2018 at noon at Woodmont Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Thompson officiating. A private committal will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Millie spent most of her life in Florence. She was a member of Woodmont Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, teaching at Handy Head Start and spending time with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Zaheadur Kazi: granddaughter, Hannah Kazi; and other dear family members.
Millie was survived by her son, Aziz Kazi (Kristi); daughter, Sharmin Rahman; one brother, numerous sisters, nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
