Louise Mitchell Forsythe – Obituary

Louise Mitchell Forsythe, of Florence, went home to be with the Father on Sunday, June 3, 2018. A native of Lauderdale County, Mrs. Forsythe was 80 years old. She was a retired restaurant owner and also retired from Sargent Cutlery in Florence.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Bubba Forsythe; parents, J.B. and Beulah Mitchell; brother, William Mitchell and stepson, Scottie Forsythe.

She is survived by her son, Eddy Forsythe (Jenny); daughters, Lisa Forsythe Wills and Denise Lay and stepdaughter, Kathy Forsythe; brothers, Doug Mitchell (Jeannie), Jerry Mitchell (Jeanette) and Tom Brewer (Dee); sister, Linda Jenkins; 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granchild; and several dozens of others that she knew and loved her as Granny Lou.

A memorial service will be held at Spry-Williams Funeral Home on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 6 p.m.
