Elsie Bea Slater, 81 of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, June 1st, 2018. She was a member of Deerfield Baptist church and a Mother who took very good care of her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Slater; Parents, Talmadge and Willie Lee Shouppe;, Daughter, Kaye Denise Slater; Brothers, Jr. and Bobby Shouppe; Sister, Juanita Calloway; Grandchild, Jennifer Norman. Survivors include her Sons, Greg Slater (Kim) Loretto, TN, Steve Slater (Dana), Lawrenceburg,TN; Daughter, Deborah Sneed, Nashville, TN; Sisters, Betty Norrell (Thomas), Winter Haven, FL; Five Grandchildren, Five Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 5th, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Chapel. The Funeral service will be on Wednesday, June 6th , at 11:00 a.m. at the Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Chapel with Brother Charles Gresham and Brother Tony Gordy officiating.
Interment will be at Bumpas Cemetery.
