Stanley Ellis Henderson, 82, of Florence, died on May 12, 2018 at Mitchell Hollingsworth Nursing and Rehab. He was of the Church of Christ faith and a veteran of the United States Army.
There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Colbert Memorial Gardens with Kenny Windsor officiating.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Henderson; parents, Ellis and Lois Henderson and stepson, Dell Thompson.
Survivors include his son, Danny Thompson and daughter-in-law, Leigh Thompson; step-son, Darren Thompson; daughters, Laura Kitchen and Julie Keretz; and, grandchildren, Alex Thompson, Emeri Thompson, Caroline Thompson, Frankie Meade and Jesse Kitchen (Lizz).
Bob Ashley, Charlie Ricks, Glenn Tidwell and family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
