Charles Hollis Reid, Sr., 78, of Townley, died Friday, May 11, 2018, at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
Visitation will be Monday, May 14, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Townley First Baptist Church. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Carl Uptain will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gurley Reid; mother, Audeen Boshell Reid; grandson, Jeremy Reid Baker; and niece, Cynthia Reid.
Hollis is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Helen Reid; daughters, LaRee Baker, Lisa Reid (Donna), Sonya Reid; son, Charles Hollis Jr. (Melissa; sisters, Shelby Mason and Ruth Allen; brothers, Frank Reid and Gary Reid; grandchildren, Krista Baker Halbrook, Jeffery Reid, Katelyn Vinson (Jon); great-grandchildren, Luke Vinson, Kailee Vinson, and Addi Sherer; and a host of special nieces and nephews.
