Mr. Edward John Abdo, age 88 of Athens, AL passed away on May 8, 2018 at Athens Limestone Hospital. He was born on September 21, 1929 in Chicago, IL to David and Louisa Abdo.
Mr. Abdo was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Roger Abdo, Naif Abdo and Donald Abdo.
He is survived by his best friends, Matthew Baker and Darrell Leavitt.
He was a Veteran, having served in World War II. Mr. Abdo was a talented artist, carpenter, chef and teacher. He loved his work.
There will be a graveside service at 3:00PM Friday, May 11, 2018 at Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matthew Baker, Dawson Taylor, Joseph Carlucci and Les Baker.
