Mrs. Nina Alois Grant Lauderdale, age 96 of Athens, AL passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018. Mrs. Lauderdale was born on July 11, 1921 in Baker, OK to Robert and Edith Deaton Grant.
Mrs. Lauderdale was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rufus C. Lauderdale; five brothers; three sisters; daughter, Connie Nelda Van Hal and son-in-law, Donald Van Hal.
She is survived by her son, Ronny Lauderdale (Debbie) of Athens; granddaughters, Meredith Lauderdale Cannon, Ronna Lauderdale Keenum (Nick), Shana Lauderdale Potts (Dave) all of Athens, AL and Paula Van Hal Davis (Craig) of Auburn, AL; eight great-grandchildren, Anja Cannon, Ramah Cannon, Gabby Keenum, Brayden Keenum, Jameson Potts, Lyric Potts, Grant Davis and Miles Davis; one sister, Bobbie Lundberg of Liberal, KS.
Services for Mrs. Lauderdale will be at 1:00PM Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Mike Lauderdale officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30-1:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will take place at Mountain Home Cemetery in Bear Creek, AL.
Pallbearers will be Nick Keenum, Craig Davis, Dave Potts, Mike Lauderdale and Brayden Keenum.
