Ellen Imogene Renner, 77, of Sheffield, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018. Visitation will be Monday, May 7th from 11 a.m. until noon at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield with Reverend Michael Lauersdorf officiating.
Ellen was a native of Colbert County and attended Hook Street Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Ellen was preceded in death by her son, John William Clement; parents, James and Louise Kent; and brother, John Perry Halbert.
She is survived by her son, Michael Clement and wife, Loretta; daughter, Misty Ford; sisters, Georgia Sargent and Cathy Hamm; and two grandchildren, Christopher Clement and Michael Clement Jr.
The family expresses special thanks to the third floor and PCU nurses and staffs of Helen Keller Hospital and Alacare Hospice and to Reverend Michael and Sandra Lauersdorf.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
