Braden Lane Turner, 17, of Florence passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018. Visitation will be today, May 1, 2018 from 1 to 3 p.m. at at Wilson High School Gymnasium. The service will follow at 3 p.m. Interment will be in Railroad Cemetery.
Braden was a member of the Wilson High School football team and attended Liberty Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Heather Turner McNeill and husband, Josh; sister, Madalynn Turner; brothers, Prestin Turner and Wyatt McNeill; and grandparents, Jerry and Martha Phillips and Cathy and Jack Todd.
Braden was a member of Underwood Baptist Church where he was saved and baptized as a young child. He attended Liberty Baptist Church where he reaffirmed his faith and became an active member and leader of the youth group.
Braden loved playing football and had played since he was able to hold a ball. He played at Underwood’s Dixie Youth Field until he was able to play at Wilson School. He was in constant competition with his brother, Prestin, for who had the most touchdowns. At last count Braden was ahead.
Braden was rarely seen without a smile. He was always goofing off and laughing with his friends. He lived life to the fullest and was loved by all.
