Riposa in pace bella e condoglianze a tutta la famiglia
Renata,
I know God will keep and protect you at his inner sanctuary!
Theres,
… “He will swallow up death forever. The sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove the disgrace of his people from all the earth. The Lord has spoken.” Isaiah 25:8
Theres … the first day I met Renata at your house back in July 2013, I immediately knew she took me as one of hers’ … She sat beside me on the sofa to see what I was reading. I told her I was reading a biography of her great grand father [Hakim Workneh aka Dr. Martin Workneh, the first Ethiopian medical doctor, modernizer, and first Ethiopian full Ambassador to Great Britain back in the 1940’s]. The book was written in Amharic and I knew she doesn’t know the language. I pointed her name on the book. She was very happy … Ever since, I never stopped loving her! She was one of the very rare who really made me feel comfortable at first encounter. …. It was just a week before her passing that she called my wife and told her she wants to take us to Nashville to an Ethiopian restaurant … The moment I heard her passing, my heart literally stopped … and it took me long for the news to sink in! Theres … I heard you tell Mami “God wanted her and Wossen” more … he has a reason … I believe it! After all, who are we to doubt or question his judgement??
Gash Joe and Jewi,
I pray for God’s love and comfort to give you the strength to overcome this sad moment.

i just dont know what to say…………. my heart hurts….. we didnt know each other that well….. but she was my age ….. i feel horrible for her family
Renata used to be the epitome of ‘best of the bests’ just in one package! … Symbol of beauty! … Model of character! … Mark of strength! … and everything they entail !!! It appears the ‘Almighty God’ wanted her for himself much more than we needed her here at ‘just 30 years of youth!’ She doesn’t exist in this physical world … she is somewhere in a different cosmos … but certainly, a better one!
