FLORENCE-Mayor Steve Holt and the Florence City Council are pleased to announce the launch of the Florence Forward Sustainable Partner Program.
This program is a revamp of the Certified Green Team Partnership Program. The goal of the program is to highlight and
support the businesses and organizations in Florence that are committed to sustainable practices. The sustainable partner application is a checklist that includes the most common green practices, and encourages participants to
incorporate sustainable initiatives specific to their operation.
Businesses and organizations that become a Florence Forward Sustainable Partner will be recognized by the Mayor at a City Council meeting, receive a sustainable partner logo for publication, be added to the website list of sustainable
partners and more. Current Green Team Partners will automatically be transferred
to the new Florence Forward program.
