Ailsa M. Ball died on March 14th, 2018 at the age of 102. She is predeceased by her husband, Leslie, and by her son, Anthony. At her request, Ailsa was buried in a private ceremony at Maple Hill Cemetery on March 21st. Her surviving children – Jacqueline A. Widener, Sandra J. Ball-Rokeach, and Karen R. Ball and grandchildren – Kenneth Halgren, Steven Halgren, Lisa Munson, and Brenda Cuthbertson – and daughter in law, Suzanne Ball — mourn her loss, but salute Ailsa’s remarkable and full life where she brought joy to her family and friends. Ailsa requested that donations made in her memory be given to the Huntsville Botanical Garden: 4749 Bob Wallace Ave., Huntsville, AL 35805.
