ETOWAH COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident that took the life of a Boaz man on Friday, March 23:
“A single-vehicle crash at 4:00 p.m. today, March 23, has claimed the life of a Boaz man.
Kenneth Reed Bruce, 53, was killed when the Nissan 300Z he was driving left the roadway on Alabama Highway 179 and struck several trees. Bruce, was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred two miles south of Boaz.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
