Ryan D. Wray, age 21, a resident of Culleoka, passed away Wednesday morning, March 21, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

 

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 3PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Talley officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

 

Born on September 7, 1996 in Maury County, Ryan was the son of Ted Wray and Sara Bailey Wray. He was a 2015 graduate of Culleoka High School and served in the United States Army. He previously worked in the stock room at Hobby Lobby in Columbia. Ryan enjoyed playing video games and loved his cat, Riley Bean. Being the youngest of three, he was spoiled by all of his family. Ryan recently went skydiving with his best buddies, Ryan and Connor Burke, and had the time of his life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers: Ted (Nicole) Wray of Culleoka, Jason (Mekia) Wray of Fayetteville; paternal grandmother: Mary Lee Wray Adams of Culleoka; maternal grandfather: Donald Grant Bailey of Columbia; special cousin: Gabe Bullion of Culleoka; high school sweetheart: Kendall Westmoreland of Culleoka; friend: Betsy Bryson; niece: Georgiana Wray; and nephews: Wesley Wray, Adam Wray, Dylan Wray, Nicholas Wray.

 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Otto Wray; and maternal grandmother: Zennie Bailey.

 

Pallbearers will be: Larry Webb, Robert Rollins, Chasyn Czajka, Samuel Barnes, Wesley Wray, and Adam Wray.

 

Honorary pallbearers will include: Dylan Wray, Nicholas Wray, Gabe Bullion, John & Lisa Rollins, Peggy Cross, and Carl Webb.
