Evelyn D. Shackelford of Pulaski passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Southern Tennessee Health system in Pulaski. She was a native of Pulaski born on January 7, 1919 and was 99 years old.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, loved to swim, work in her flowers, and was a good cook and housekeeper and as a child loved to swim. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters and great-grand sons.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 11:00am until 2:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
A graveside service will follow visitation on Saturday at 2:00pm in Giles Memory Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Shackelford, parents, Edgar Neil and Willie Lou Hardwick Daily, sisters, Edith Daily Adams, Eloise Daily Evans, brother, William Neil Daily, Hannan Daily, and Harold Daily.
She is survived by her,
Son, Harold (Jennifer) Shackelford of Murfreesboro
Granddaughters, Ashli Shackelford(Lance) Wheaton, and Hollye Shackelford (Bill) Walter both of Murfreesboro
5 great-grandsons, William Shackelford Wheaton, John David Wheaton, Samuel Christopher Walter, Andrew Lane Walter and Braydon Shackelford Walter.
