Lilburn Franklin Bassham, 95, of Killen, AL, passed away March 14, 2018 at his home. Mr. Bassham was a retired electrician for TVA/Brown’s Ferry Nuclear Plant, a 65 year member of IBEW, and a United States Navy Veteran of World War II. He was a member of American Legion Post #146 in Loretto, TN and Harrison’s Chapel Methodist Church in Killen, AL.

 

Mr. Bassham is survived by:

Wife:     Venora Bishop Bassham

Sons:     Earl Bassham (Joyce)

Doward Bassham

Sisters: Christine King

Joann Bosheers

Marie Townsend

Grandchild: Lindley Bassham (Jeremy)

 

He was preceded in death by:

Parents: Grady and Annie Bassham

Step-mother: Mrs. Pearl

Sister: Dalphne Shannon

 

Visitation will be Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Mike Butler and Josh Clayton officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

 

The family would like to thank Sandy Allen and Becky Searcy and Kindred Hospice for their care during this time.
