Jeppy Louie Clayton, 62, of Madison, passed away Tuesday.
Mr. Clayton was a native of Gadsden, AL and a 1974 graduate of Emma Sansom High School where he was an avid sports fan that played baseball and football. He also graduated from Auburn University where he received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering. Mr. Clayton was employed as an Engineer for the past 29 years with NASA.
Mr. Clayton was preceded in death by his parents, Louie A. and Dorothy S. Clayton.
Survivors include his wife, Leeann Clayton; daughter Jessica Clayton; brother Danny (Mary Ann) Clayton; three nephews: Brett (Chenequa) Clayton, Matthew Smith, and Curtis Smith; two nieces, Kim (Vince) Noblitt and Malaine Smith; and a host of loving family and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home with memorial service to follow at 4:00 with Rev. Walter Smith officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association or to a favorite chartity.
