Edward Neil Goodwin, age 74, of Parrish, passed away on March 1, 2018 at St. Vincent’s Hospital.
He was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed rabbit hunting, fishing and golf. He retired from Alabama Power Co. after 27 years of service. He was a member of Parrish Church of Christ.
Graveside services will be Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Odom Memorial Cemetery. Joey Sparks will officiate.
Mr. Goodwin was preceded in death by his Parents-Homer and Gladys Goodwin; Sister-Vondel Key; Grandson-Scott Goodwin.
He is survived by his Wife of 56 years-Patsy Goodwin; Sons-Mark and Ricky (Sherri) Goodwin; Grandsons-Blake, Jerad (Kyleigh) and Cody (Ashley) Goodwin; Great Grandchildren-Laynie, Blakely, Adilynn and Wyatt Goodwin; Two unborn great granddaughters; Brothers-Oliver Goodwin and Hub Goodwin; Sisters-Nellie Keef and Linda Douglas; Special friends-Wanda and the late Noog Henderson; Host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends
