William Raymond Higdon, Sr. age 70 of Bagley,passed away Sunday February 25, 2018 at his residence. He was a member of the East Walker Church of Christ. He was raised in the Hillview community in Forestdale; he was a graduate of Minor High School, class of 1966; and he had a God given voice.
Funeral services will be Friday March 2, 2018 at 11:00 am in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Minister Barry Bennett will officiate. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Thursday night 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Verdie Higdon and his brothers, James David, Alton Edward and John Earl Higdon.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Beverly Logan Higdon; son, William Raymond Higdon, Jr (Holly); daughter, Angie Higdon Parker (Jeff); grandchildren, Jackson Parker and Cody Higdon; great grandchildren, Autumn Brooke Higdon and Marcus Higdon; sisters, Lorene Metcalf and Ruby Sellers; several other relatives and many friends.
