Dexter Wayne Gray – Obituary

Dexter Wayne Gray, 88, died Friday, February 16, 2018, at the Iuka Hospital.  He was born in Iuka, MS to Olen Neal and Elvie Corinne Hargett Gray.  He worked at Reynolds Metals for 35 years and was a member of Tishomingo Baptist Church.  He was a veteran of the US Army.

Funeral services will be on Monday, February 19, 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Gary Cosby, Jordan Hodges and Ty Cosby officiating.  Burial will be in Tishomingo City Cemetery.  Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by two daughters-Regina Hodges (Steve) and Robyn Cosby (Rob); five grandchildren-Neal Hodges (Stacy), Jordan Hodges, Sarah Cosby, Hannah Cosby and Ty Cosby; two great-grandchildren-Blaze Hodges and Natalie Hodges and one sister-Frances Dean.

He is preceded in death by his wife-Jane Ware Gray and his parents.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Green, Ronnie Joslin, Thomas Curry, Neal Hodges, Josh Curry, Jordan Hodges and Ty Cosby.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 18, 6-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home.
