J.T. Holland, 78, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, at Russellville Hospital. A native of Hodges, Alabama, he was self-employed and retired from his business, Northwest Stamping and Fabrication, in 1994. Having lived in Russellville for the past 40 years, he was a member of Crestview Missionary Baptist Church, Russellville. Visitation for Mr. Holland will be today from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Services will begin at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Roger Akers officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Cemetery, Russellville.
Mr. Holland is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joyce Chamblee Holland; daughters, Sherry Thorn and husband, Jeff, and Theresa Burkhart and husband, Wayne; sister, Brenda Stone; and brother, Hugh Holland; and grandchildren, Jessica Cantrell and husband, Lucas, and their children, Olivia and Eli, Ben Thorn and wife, Kristina, and their children, Sawyer and Everett, Heather Phillips and her husband, Quinton, and their children, Aaron and Lilly McAlister, Emily Phillips, and Dustin Parker. Nieces, nephews, and a host of friends also survive him.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Perman and Gertha Sullins Holland; brother, L.V. Holland; and a sister, Betty Wright.
Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
