Bill Dees, 82, died Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Generations of Red Bay. He was born April 21, 1935 in Franklin County, AL and was of the Baptist faith. He was retired from the City of Red Bay Water and Gas Department.
Services will be Saturday, February 3, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Marshall Green officiating. Burial will be in Old Burleson Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are one sister – Bertha Faulkner, Lawrenceburg, TN; very special niece – Deborah Brooks, Red Bay, AL and a host of other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maudie Bell Dees, his parents, John Hayden Dees and Dillie Bell Allen Dees, four brothers, Leroy Dees, Hayden Dees, Talmadge Dees and Millard Dees and four sisters – Alpha Brooks, Trubie Robinson, Fay Credille and Opal Storey.
Pallbearers will be Tony Comi, Josh Scott, Greg Dees, Lane Brooks and Dwaine Pharris.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 3, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
