Robert “Bobby” Turner of Lynnville passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Giles County on September 16, 1930 and was 87 years old. Bobby was a loving person and had many friends in the cattle industry. He loved life and working on his farm and raising cattle. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Visitation took place on Saturday, February 3rd from 11:00am until 1:30pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. A graveside service took place on Saturday, February 3rd in Pisgah Cemetery at 2:00pm with Bro. Danny Jones and Bro. Mark Jones officiating. Burial in Pisgah Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Finley Hardin and Ruby Pearl Britton Turner, brothers, James Turner and Luther Dean Turner Sisters, Marie Sheedy, Loraine Sherrill, and Linda Sue Bradford. He is survived by his, sisters, Thelma Jones of Lynnville, Norma Jean (Terry) Mitchell of Texas, Mary Wilson of Columbia, and Wanda Gibson of Columbia. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and friends. Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Robert “Bobby” Turner.
