Mrs. Sandra Sue “Lil Turtle” Dobbins, 75 of Lacey’s Spring, died Friday January 19, 2018 at Crestwood Medical Center.
Mrs. Dobbins was born August 26, 1942 in Zanesville, Ohio to Denna Allbery Carrel and Winfred Ellen Morgan Carrel. She was a devoted wife and mother , loved her grandchildren, enjoyed reading, cross stitch projects, puzzles, flowers, animals and watching movies.
She was a member of Lacey’s Spring United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years Noble E. Dobbins; her children and in-laws: Michael Gossett Sr. and Tammy, Keith Gossett and Celeste and Denise Gossett; step daughter: Sherry Mata and Danny; grandchildren: Mikey Gossett and Tasha, Charlie Gossett and Shawna, Keeley Gossett and Marquis; eight great grandchildren; step grandchildren: Jeremy Mata and Rachel Mata; her sisters and brother-in-law: Patricia McNeal, Michelle Hubbard and Brion. She was preceded in death by her parents: Denna Allbery and Winifred Ellen Carrel and one great grandson.
A Memorial Service will be held at a Brindlee Mountain Chapel in Morgan City, date pending.In lieu of flowers make donations to ASPCA.
