Celebration of Life for Brother Eddie Bond Sr., 69, of Somerville will be on Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Brother John Yeager and Brother Don Smith will officiate. The family will have a visitation from 12:30 until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Brother Bond was born on July 24, 1948, in Morgan County to Herbert Lee Bond Sr. and Maudie Lee Brand Bond. He passed away on Friday, Jan. 12, 2018 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was retired from Delphi and pastored two churches, The “Truth Baptist Church” and “Community Baptist Church”.
Mr. Bond is survived by his wife of 50 years, Paulette Bond; daughters, Renee Bond and Amy Freeman (Marcus); son, Eddie Bond Jr. (Tammy); sister, Dot Haddock (Buddy); brother, Henry Bond (Becky); four granddaughters, Misty Brown (Michael), Kiarra Crittendon, Jada Crittendon, and Talasja Turner; and great-grandson, Ja’Maurii Stegall.
