Jacob Lynn (Jake) Godwin was born March 6, 1988 in Jackson, TN, the son of Grady Lynn Godwin and Vonda Gay Godwin Johnson. He was united in marriage to Danielle Yvonne Peay on January 2, 2010. Mr. Godwin worked as a welder for Eagle Bend Manufacturing in Clinton, TN.
He is survived by his parents, Grady Godwin and Randy and Vonda Gay Johnson: wife, Danielle Godwin of Savannah, Tennessee; a daughter, Bailey Leighann Godwin of Savannah, TN; two sons, Caden Lynn Godwin of Savannah, TN, Andrew Lyndan Godwin of Savannah, TN; three sisters, Amber Sullivan and husband Jared of Charlotte, TN, Jessica Johnson of Jacksboro, TN, Miranda Huddleston and husband Johnny of Jacksboro, TN; his grandmother, Charlene Godwin; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by by his grandparents Grady P. Godwin, Dorothy Mae McClain, and Baxter Godwin.
