David Oliver Toles, 86, of Huntsville, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018. David was born in Jackson, Mississippi on November 2, 1931 to Owen and Mary Toles. He married Betty Joy West on June 2, 1956, and spent almost 61 years together as devoted husband and wife. Joy preceded him in death on April 25, 2017.
David is survived by sisters, Doris Lynn and Mary Edith; sons and their spouses, Michael Owen (Judy), David Forrest, Jeffery Todd (Sandra), and Thomas Andrew; daughter-in-law, Angie Toles; nine granddaughters; two grandsons; three grandsons-in-law; and one granddaughter-in-law.
Our dad spent a lifetime of sacrifice and devotion to his family, and made sure we all were raised to walk in the path of righteousness and devotion to God. Dad will be greatly missed, long remembered and greatly loved. We are happy for him that he now has joined his wife in the arms of their Lord and Savior, immersed in peace and love.

Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Todd Toles officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
