Elizabeth Ann Croley, age 79, a resident of Columbia, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Signature Healthcare.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 5PM with Pastor Jim Ledbetter officiating. A visitation will also be held on Saturday from 4-5 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on March 9, 1938 in Weeksbury, Kentucky, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Johnny Lee Oakes and the late Caliva Stitum Oakes. Besides her work as a homemaker, she previously drove an ice cream truck for several years. One of her biggest hobbies was watching old westerns, and she also enjoyed fishing. She was a simple, down to earth woman who loved her family and especially loved spoiling her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons: Randy (Nickie) Croley of Columbia, Rudy Little of Kentucky, Ronnie Little of Kentucky, Robert Little of Kentucky; daughters: Patty Jean (Wendall) Howard of Portland, TN, Pamela Sue Croley of Florida, Colleen Croley of Columbia; brothers: Kenneth Oakes, Freddy Oakes; sister: Della Oakes Hunter; grandchildren: Alex Croley, Aaron Croley, Nicky Ray Nickell; great grandchild: Addison Croley; and aunt: Bobbie Croley Little.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Nicky Croley in June of 2014; and brother: Virgil Oakes.
