Randall Wade (Randy) Taylor passed away on Jan. 1, 2018, at age 45. Randy was born at ECM Hospital in Florence, Alabama on Sept. 24, 1972, and lived his younger years in Russellville, Alabama. The family moved from Russellville to New Orleans then to Crown Point, Indiana and later to Decatur, Georgia.
Randy is survived by his mother, Lois Taylor, Decatur, Georgia; his brother, Matthew D. Taylor, Decatur, Georgia; his grandmother, Doris Seal, Russellville, Alabama; his aunt, Reba DeVaney and husband, Gary, and cousins, Heath DeVaney, all from Russellville, Alabama, and Mandy Harris, Olive Branch, Mississippi.
Randy was preceded in death by his father, James Earl (Jimmy) Taylor, Decatur, Georgia, and his grandfather, Ernest Seal, Russellville, Alabama. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons at 1 p.m. today. The family received friends on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, from 6-9 p.m.
