Mr. Donald Gene Baker, age 77, of Huntsville, passed away Friday at a local Hospice Care Center. A native of New Hope, he was retired from Huntsville Utilities.
Mr. Baker is survived by his loving wife, of 57 years, Elizabeth (Lusk) Baker, two daughters, Sharon Parde and Donna Sallis; son Mickey Baker; sister, Beagie Stewart, and husband Homer; two brothers Monroe Baker and Thomas Baker; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends Thursday from 5:30 until 6:30pm. A memorial service will follow at 6:30pm in Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Newton officiating.
