Virginia Talley Davis died Wednesday, December 27, 2017. Her visitation will be Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel at 12:30 pm with the Reverend Howard Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.
Mrs. Davis was a native of Sheffield, Alabama. She was retired from Sara Lee as a line worker. She was a member of Sheffield First Church of the Nazarene and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas “Buck” Davis; parents, Millard and Opal Talley; sister, Olene Norman; brothers, Johnny and Don Talley.
She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Leigh Talley McGee (Chris); brother, Bobby Talley; sister, Margie Moore; grandchildren, Patrick McGee and Meghan Bousman (Tom); and great grandchildren, Haley, Hannah, Brandon, and Emma.
Pallbearers will be Gene Copeland, Galin Taylor, Jeff Butler, Gary Cox, Jason Allen, and Andrew Scott.
