Mrs. Carolyn Guthrie McGlocklin, age 76 of Tanner, AL passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mrs. McGlocklin was born on June 28, 1941 in Limestone County to William and Eunice Vining Guthrie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter McGlocklin; brothers, William Guthrie, Jr., Wayne Guthrie, Hollis Guthrie and sister, Janice Gooch.
Mrs. McGlocklin is survived by her daughters, Cindy Wise (Billy) and Beverly Joy McGlocklin; step-daughters, Grace Sides (Bryan) and Nancy Johnson; brothers, Curtis Lavern Guthrie and Daryl Guthrie; sisters; Barbara Hemphill, Sharon Usery, Sheila McKnight, Susan Holt and Phyllis Spencer; 5 step-grandchildren and numerous family and friends.
Services for Mrs. McGlocklin will be 2:00PM Sunday, December 24, 2017 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:45PM prior to the service. The burial will be in Reunion Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Guthrie, Daniel Holt, Chris Spencer, Chad Spencer, Justin Usery and Phillip Guthrie.
