Nettie Pearl Byrd, 81, of Sheffield, AL passed away Thursday, December 22, 2017. Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 23, 2017. Brother Charlie James will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Myrtle Speegle; husband, V.L. Byrd; daughters, Linda Faye Byrd, Regina Flannagin; brothers and sister; son, Danny Wayne Byrd.
She is survived by her sons, Roger Lee Byrd (Brenda) and Phillip Dale Byrd (Libby); daughters, Tina Strange (Jerry), Melodie Byrd (Michael) and Jennifer Vernon; grandchildren, Amanda Byrd, Jessica Byrd, Josh Byrd, Clint Byrd, and Brittany Strange; 11 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
