William Edward Jernigan 90, of Hartselle passed away Tuesday December 19, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born April 23, 1927 in Biloxi, Mississippi to James and Elizabeth Jernigan. He was a Navy of veteran of World War II and Army veteran of the Korean war. He is preceded in death by her parents and a brother. He is survived by his wife Doris; two daughters, Rosemarie Jernigan Vaughn (Don), and Laura Christine Jernigan Hauth (Larry); seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday December 27, 2017 from Noon until 1:30 at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home followed by a service at 1:30pm. Burial will be at Herring Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons and family members. Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
