Mrs. Barbara Gable, 73, of Iron City, TN, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at Centennial Medical Center. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a seamstress, and of the Baptist faith. The graveside service was held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Mt. Nebo Cemetery. David Byrd officiated. Burial followed in Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Survivors included: Son- Anthony Gable (Crystal) of Iron City, TN; Daughter- Susan Irvin (Chris) of Loretto, TN; Grandchildren- Josh Cheek, Allie Gable, Aaron Gable, Holly Irvin, & Gracie Irvin; 3 Sisters- Glenda Hill of Waynesboro, TN; Betty Thomas of TX; Judy Russ of Lawrenceburg, TN; 1 Brother- Wallace Quillen of Springhill, TN; Several Nieces & Nephews; Preceded in death by: Parents- James Allen Quillen & Bertha Lou Dyer; Husband- Aaron “Abe” Gable; Brothers- Lee Alen Quillen and Jimmy Ray Quillen; Sisters- Jane McDonald and JoAnn Johnson
