Bobby Neal Wade, 86, of Florence, passed away December 14, 2017. He was a member of Wood Avenue Church of Christ; UNA Sportsman Club; and played football for Florence State Teachers College on the first team ever fielded at the school; and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. A graveside service will begin at 3:30 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Park with Joe Van Dyke officiating.
Mr. Wade was preceded in death by his parents, Neal Joseph and Zola McKelvy Wade.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Sue Young Wade; son, Barry Neal Wade of Florence; daughter, Beth Ann Wade of Orange Beach, AL; and a grandchild, Rachel Lee Ann Wade of Tuscaloosa, AL.
