Olen “Sonny” Hobbs passed away on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, at the age of 76. His visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, from noon until 2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Gardens with Willie Williams officiating.
Sonny was a native of Panama City and a resident of Muscle Shoals for the past 42 years. Sonny was an amazing man. He loved his family and friends. He enjoyed customizing antique cars, and as a young man he was also into scuba diving and racing motorcycles.
He is survived by the love of his life of 42 years, Alene Ivey; son, Tim Hobbs (DeAnna), of Echo, Alabama; daughters, Traci Pierce (Keith), of Atlanta, and Cathy Trawick (Billy), of Niceville; and grandchildren, Kyle, Cole, Callie, and Kaitlyn.
Pallbearers will be Jack Terry, Willie Haley, David Terry, Patrick Staley, Mike Terry, and Michael Terry.
