Sarah Wynelle Couch Atchison, 89 of Florida, formerly of Arab, died Saturday December 9, 2017 at Longwood Health and Rehab Center in Florida.
Mrs. Atchison was born August 30, 1927 in Marshall County to Chester E. Couch and Simmie Parker Couch. She was a registered nurse and worked in the health care industry until her retirement. Her husband Jeff Daniel Atchison preceded her in death on April 30, 2017.
Mrs. Atchison is survived by her son and daughter: Jeffrey Atchison and Amrit Hans and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Jeff Daniel Atchison; her daughters: Linda Atchison and Mary Katherine Atchison; her brother: Eugene Couch and her sisters: Willene Harper and Willa Hue Click.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday December 16, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Saturday December 16, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel prior to the service.
