Mrs. Eleanor A. Turbyfill, 77, passed away Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017, at Burns Nursing Home. A native of Alabama, she was a homemaker and member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
Visitation for Mrs. Turbyfill will be Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, from noon until 2 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with burial following in Macedonia Cemetery. Officiating will be Eddie Wix. Pallbearers will be Thad Harris, Calvin Channell, Johnny Turbyfill, Tynes Channell, Tanner Turbyfill, and Eric Turbyfill.
Mrs. Turbyfill is survived by her children, Tim Turbyfill (Lisa), Mark Turbyfill (Shirley), Danny Turbyfill (Rhonda), and Kara Channell (Calvin). Two sisters also survive her, Shirley Naese (Larry) and Dorthea Kinard (Gerald). Grandchildren include the following, Tamra Jeffreys (Marcus), Tanner Turbyfill (Kendall), Eric Turbyfill (Nicole), Alyssa Fikes (Adam), Thad Harris (Kelly), Seth Channell (Debbie), Tynes Channell, and Kylynn Channell. Great-grands are Cami, Kruz, Blaine, Eli, Maci, Austin, Hadley Beth, Malakye, Makayla, Landon, Atticus, Peter, James, Josiah, Felicity, and Evangeline. Nieces, nephews, and friends also survive her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Turbyfill in 2009, and by her parents, A.T. and Rilla Martin Johnson. Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
