Marcella Ann South, age 80, of Waterloo, Alabama, died Thursday, November 23, 2017. The visitation will be Sunday, November 26th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral will follow in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. Charles Linam, Jimmy Shields, and Chad Balentine will be officiating. Burial will follow at Murphy Chapel Cemetery.
She was a native of Lauderdale County and was a member of Murphy Chapel Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus South; parents Joe and Carrie Rose and brother, Jack Wallace.
Survivors include her sons, Roger South (Kim), James South, Randy South (Cheryl), Ricky South (Teresa), Steven South (Stacy), Phillip South (Nikki); nieces, Tamara Hart and Martina Faulkner, eleven grand-children, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons; Michael South, Matthew South, Wesley South, Jeremy South, Chris South, and Justin South. Honorary pallbearers will be great-grandsons; Allen South, Adam South, Isaac South, Austin Creasy, Jacob Creasy, Jared Creasy, Scott Smith, and Ronnie Murphy.
