William ‘Bill’ Thomas Broglan, Sr., 86, of Huntsville, took his final flight when he soared off to Heaven to be with his wife, Marjorie. Mr. Broglan was an honorably discharged S/Sgt of the U.S. Air Force with National Defense service medal and good conduct medal. He and his wife, Marjorie returned to Huntsville from San Antonio, TX, where they stated a family. He loved to fly and frequently went flying on weekends and taking the family on vacation.
Survivors include children, Linda R. Broglan, William Thomas ‘Tom’ Broglan, Jr. and David E. Broglan; sister, Cornelia ‘Connie’ Broglan Oliver; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie K. Broglan; twin sons; parents, Olivene Broglan McBride and William Broglan; and sister, Virginia Broglan Lynch.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel with Tom Lovell officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
