Glenn Wallace Day, 81, of Scottsboro, passed away Wednesday.
Mr. Day was a native of Madison County and a resident of Scottsboro for over 32 years. He was also Past President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Arie 3263 and founding member of the Scottsboro Arie.
Mr. Day worked for Huntsville Manufacturing for 23 years and then Dunlop Tire and Rubber Corp. for 17 years before retiring in 1995.
Survivors include three brothers: Gordon Day, Grant Day, and Harry Day; four sisters: Joan Barkeley, Kathy Clark, Jenny Day, and Joyce Parsons; three grandchildren: Jeff Hoy, Anthony Hoy, and James Hammock; and three greatgrandchildren: Zack Hoy, Ryan Hoy, and Hailey Hoy.
The family will receive friends Sunday, December 10th from 3:00 – 3:30 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow at 3:30 with David Karr officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Clearview Cancer Institute of Huntsville.
