Winston Dale Pickens – Obituary

Winston Dale Pickens departed this life on Monday, November 13, 2017, at the age of 71 years and 13 days. He was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on October 31, 1946, the son of the late Harold and Rachel Chambers Pickens. On September 18, 1992, he was united in marriage to Teresa Jo Brewer, who survives.

Winston had been a mechanic and shop foreman for J & J Tractor Sales, Inc. for over 45 years. He loved riding horses, and enjoyed hunting and camping. Winston loved to socialize, getting out and talking to people all the time.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Jo Pickens of Adamsville, Tennessee; his children, Duane Pickens, Shane Pickens, Nicole Pickens, and Katie Pickens; step children, Bucky Brewer and Crystal Qualls Hamm; twelve grandchildren; sister, Doris Pickens Smith and husband Nyles; and brother, Marvin Harold Pickens, Jr. and wife Gail.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Jean Pickens and a brother, Ronald Edward Pickens.
