Mrs. Karen K. Haff died at her home in Madison, AL on November 6, 2017. She was born in St. Louis, MO on October 25¸ 1941. She was pre deceased by her parents, Charles and Audrey Koerner. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ortive J. Haff, her daughter Katherine H. Lineker, her son and daughter-in-law Stephen D. Haff and Chong Yin, her grandchildren Constantine and Isabella, her sister and brother-in-law Janice and Philip Mengel, and her brother-in-law Karl Haff and his wife, Patricia.
She did undergraduate work at The College of William and Mary and The George Washington University. She earned a masters degree in social work from Virginia Commonwealth University.
She was a homemaker and stay-at-home mom, providing a warm and loving home for her family.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Madison. She was active in the Baby Basket Ministry and RCIA until her illness. She was a master gardener in both Virginia and Alabama. She was a talented quilter and painter. She loved traveling. She and her husband made several trips to the National Parks in the Western United States.

Visitation for Mrs. Haff will be Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017 in the chapel at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Madison, AL at 10 am, with funeral mass following at 11 am.
